Wir als Islamische Gemeinschaft Stuttgart e.V. gibt es seit den 1990er-Jahren. Seit 2007 sind wir in der Kesselstraße 27 und haben das Gebäude in Eigenarbeit zur Moschee umgebaut. 2015 kam das erste Minarett Stuttgarts dazu – als sichtbares Zeichen für Frieden und Zusammenhalt. Unsere Türen stehen allen offen.
Die 5 Säulen des Islam
Der Gesandte Allahs – Allahs Segen und Friede seien auf ihm – sagte:
„Der Islam gründet sich auf fünf Säulen: dem Bekenntnis, dass es keinen Gott gibt außer Allah und dass Muhammad der Gesandte Allahs ist; dem Verrichten des Gebets; dem Entrichten der Zakat; dem Fasten im Monat Ramadan und der Pilgerfahrt zum Haus (Kaaba) – für den, der dazu in der Lage ist.“
